JEUNE CINEMA is a feature footage documentary about one of the most extraordinary experiences in cinema, which took place in Hyères (France) from 1965 to 1983. Due to this film festival, a large audience discovered the stunning first works of filmmakers such as Philippe Garrel, Helma Sanders, Chantal Akerman, Werner Schroeter or Leos Carax and many others before they became a legend in the art-house industry.
