In the 1930′s an Abbot in French Normandy was publishing a revue which would answer the very practical sexual question of his readers. Using the letters, the film unfolds a portrait of rural France, the ignorance, the fears, the will to be part of the flock and a constant obsession for repressing sexuality.

    Blandine Lenoir est comédienne et réalisatrice. Elle a notamment tourné avec Gaspar Noé (« Carne » et « Seul contre tous »), mais également avec Solveig Anspach, Fabienne Godet, Erick Zonca, Mikaël Haneke. Elle a réalisé dix courts métrages, primés dans de nombreux festivals en France et à l’étranger et tous diffusés à la télévision (FRANCE 3, CANAL+, TPS ou Ciné Cinéma) dont : « Avec Marinette » (1999, primé à Clermont-Ferrand, Brest et Pantin), « Dans tes rêves » (2003, primé à Bordeaux, Aix en Provence, Aigues-Mortes), « Rosa » (2005 primé à Aix-en-Provence, Clermont-Ferrand et nominé aux Lutins du meilleur court-métrage), « Ma Culotte » (2006, dans le cadre de la Collection initiée par CANAL+ « Écrire pour… Christine Boisson »), « Pour de Vrai » (2007), "Monsieur l'Abbé" (2010, nommé au César du meilleur court-métrage) et "L'amérique de la femme" en 2014.
    En 2014, Blandine passe au long-métrage avec "Zouzou". Suit "Aurore" avec Agnès Jaoui en 2016. En 2022 sort son troisième film "Annie Colère" avec Laure Calamy.

    Blandine Lenoir is both actress and film-maker.
    She worked as an actress with Gaspard Noé, Solveig Anspach, Fabienne Godet, Erick Zonca and Michael Haneke.
    As a film-maker, she directed seven short film selected and awarded in numerous film festivals among them: "With Marinette" (1999, awarded in Clermont-Ferrand, Brest and Pantin films festivals), « In your Dreams » (2003, awarded at Bordeaux, Aix en Provence, Aigues-Mortes), « Rosa » (2005 awarded at Aix-en-Provence, Clermont-Ferrand and nominated at Lutins of best short film), « My Knickers » (2006), « For Real » (2007), "Dear Abbot" (2010) and "The America of Womankind" in 2014.
    "Zouzou", her first feature film, is released in 2014. In 2016, she directed "Aurore" with french actress Agnès Jaoui. "Annie Colère", her third feature film will be released in 2022, starring Laure Calamy.
