This is the story of a woman who talks to the sun and dreams about tortoises…
Abbey Lincoln is much more than a jazz singer. She’s also a creative composer, and a great poet. In this documentary, she reveals the secret motive of her life: struggle.
She refused to be a hollywood star, she has benn censured and forgotten for twenty years.
Today, at the age of sixty eight, she’s recording her seventeenth album, fills concerts halls all over the world… and says that she is living “the nicest period of her life”.
